"Just to start, this vacation was so good its
almost beyond description. All six of us travel very
frequently to 5 star resorts in fantastic locations
and they all pale in comparison to this trip. MATIRA was in perfect condition. The accommodations were fantastic.
The crew were absolutely awesome. It is hard to imagine
a better crew on any boat anywhere. The meals were
delicious - we all miss Suzu terribly. Bruno had an
uncanny knack of getting to the best spot in every
anchorage before anyone else. We experienced more of
the British Virgin Islands than I had in all my other
trips to the BVI's combined. Bruno is an incredible
Captain! We are already talking about our next trip
with Bruno and Suzu. We may want to use Matira and
her sister ship next year for a multi family trip.
I cant' think of a single thing that would have made
our trip better."

"Our 2 week charter on ABSINTHE was an incredible
holiday. The yacht, the crew, the service, the scenery,
and the activities were absolutely marvelous. We
couldn't have had a better time. It was one of our
best holidays. We look forward to doing it again
someday."

“The charter was a huge success. The staff
was GREAT, the food excellent - every little detail
was taken care of. Everyone in the family had such
a wonderful time.”

2 YACHTS, TANDEM FAMILY CHARTER: “Our cruise
was just about flawless, for both yachts. We will
surely enjoy the memories for the rest of our lives.
I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the service
was on PANACHE, and what a perfect choice it was
for our needs. Captain Sean, his wife, "T" (Dutch),
mates Clive and Fran (also married), made every effort
to take care of Mom and Dad, my sister, husband and
kids. They even provided a floating swimming pool/trampoline,
which was a tremendous hit. They were gentle and
caring and vigilant at all times, especially with
my father, who went snorkeling often, and needed
lots of help getting into and out of the launch.
The Panache and crew were simply "over the top".
The highlight of the week for Dad was the visit to
Foxy, his old friend, on our last day. Foxy was in
residence, made a big fuss over Dad (who was wearing
a 35 year old Foxy's t-shirt). SOUTHERN CROSS was
also fabulous. She housed the "younger set" very
comfortably, and the crew, headed by substitute Captain
Keith Higginson, was also superb. We sailed, snorkeled,
hiked, explored, and continuously ate gourmet food
throughout the week. We did a lot of laughing also.
Keith, easy going but responsible, was very funny
and kept us nice and relaxed. Nothing could have
been better than the perfect weather, bringing such
gentle winds that we went places and snorkeled where
we'd never gone before in almost 40 ears of cruising,
including a snorkel at "the Invisibles",
two miles east of Necker Island in the Atlantic.
And the final surprise was a gorgeous full moon on
the last night, adding a perfect ending to a perfect
cruise.”
"As one of my buddies said, 'It was an out
of the park home run.' The four of us have done a
great deal of traveling and dining but this was a
5 Star weekend in every way. The crew was sensational.
Richard is an excellent captain and his crew saw
to our every need. Dee and Sarah were so pleasant
and accommodating...always with a friendly smile.
Paul prepared food that some of the best any of us
had ever eaten. And John did it all...jet skis, fishing,
the hot tub, etc. The yacht was spectacular and looked
as if it had just been launched. It was spotless.
We have no complaints and nothing but "10s" for
the best weekend we've ever enjoyed. Kudos to Orca
and the Sandy Jo. We will definitely recommend you
to our friends and plan to be a repeat customer."

"Our vacation in the Virgin Islands was delightful
in every way - perfect weather, first-class food,
snorkeling revealed an abundance and variety of fish
and we swam with a sea turtle. The crew was very
pleasant and enjoyable to be with. Your recommendations
were accurate and appreciated. We highly recommend
the yacht and your services. Thank you!"

"You did a great job of booking the yacht for
us. Australia's Whitsunday Islands are a beautiful
area to sail. We sure had wonderful meals - and the
crew was very friendly and fun to be with. It was
a perfect vacation - lots of snorkeling and beaching
and relaxing. Particularly enjoyed the pontoon plane
flight to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. The crew
was just great at making everything easy and well
organized - it was a dream charter! Thanks again
for all of your help in pulling it together so quickly
for us - you did a great job and made our trip that
much easier!"

"Thank you for your excellent assistance. I
was a bit uncomfortable chartering a yacht for our
party of 8 through a broker 3,000 miles away. However,
the professional way you handled the charter, concern
for our comfort, and help with our itinerary made
it pleasant and exciting. I would be delighted to
share my experience with anyone considering a charter
from you. I know, through you, they will get
the best yacht charter available in the area."

"Thanks for your help and guidance in selecting
this alternative for our family vacation!! This was
a big trip for us, and it turned out to be everything
we expected and more!! WOW! The charter was
fabulous! Our letter gave Ida all she needed to plan
out the menus - and what menus they were!!! To say
that the food and drink were expertly planned would
be an understatement. From morning coffee to the
after dinner drinks, the food was fabulous. She planned
her marketing around our itinerary, and wonderful
things appeared as if by magic from the galley. We
dined on fresh fruits, fine cheeses, grilled meats,
fresh sandwiches, fabulous salads, homemade pie,
great bread. Almost everything I mentioned as something
we liked found its way into a meal, snack, or appetizers.
Urge your future clients to give her detailed input,
she can cook anything! The "Shenemere" is
a wonderful boat, and Captain Dave kept us in comfortable
anchorages the whole time. His smooth confident approach
to managing the boat was most welcome, and he let
us do as much of the handling as we wanted (I pretty
much had the helm after the first day). The
winds could be best described as "diffident" during
our stay (pretty average for August I think) so hard
sailing was not the order of the day, and since the
rest of the family was in "relax mode",
we concentrated on the destinations. We did not overemphasize "teaching",
but he certainly helped me get my confidence at handling
the vessel, and made the children feel most comfortable
with helping out. I would be comfortable trying
to handle a boat on my own now. After a short crossing
to Mahoe Bay, St. Johns, and a delightful evening
swim, sundowners, and dinner, we cleared customs
in Sopers Hole the next day - and off we went!! Our
trip included Great Harbor, Peter Island; Marina
Cay (great snorkeling & picnic lunch at the "Robb
White Bar"); breakfast at "The Baths";
snorkeling at George Dog; a night at the Bitter End;
Anegada (Loblolly Beach & "Reef Club Lobster",
with enough leftovers for a lobster frittata and
salad the next day, a/k/a "Anegada Frittata" & "Ensalada
Anegada"); snorkeling at Monkey Point; a visit
to Foxy's (nobody home but a cool place to return
when things are "jumpin"). Reluctantly
we crossed to Cruz Bay, St. Johns (worth a few hours
of walking time, cool town) to clear into the US;
the last night was in Christmas Cove, Great St. James;
the next day we had to go home! Although I have written
a fairly lengthy note, there really isn't room to
mention all of the small and subtle ways that Dave
and Ida made the trip so special. We left the "Shenemere" feeling
not so much like guests, as like friends."
