DAY 3
Time and tide wait for no man! We arrived back in Great Harbor, Peter Island circa 1:45am. It was an interesting (flying on instruments) trip back. We awoke to torrential downpours and high winds. It was looking like our BVI Diving Excursion was going to become our "Peter Island Vacation." The dive shop was not open and the weather cleared a bit. Some of us (Debbie, Shelly, Alexis & Gary) hit the beach. The others stayed on the boat to chill.
| The weather took a turn for the better by late afternoon so Alexis and Brent did some water skiing. We had dinner at the Deadman's Restaurant on the other side of the Peter Island Resort. It was Caribbean night with Steal Drums and some local entertainment. Big fun was had by all. A late night dingy ride back to the Mauna Loa and hopeful dreams of better weather tomorrow. |
