DAY 6
We left Spanish Town on Virgin Gorda and sailed directly to Great Dog Island and The Chimney dive site. We thought that this was the dive Alexis remembered so well from her last dive trip - it wasn't. They say that this is the most popular dive in the BVI - hard to believe. Visibility was marginal, the Chimney's are a series of swim-thrus, very nice - but it can't be "the best" that the islands have to offer.

After lunch we headed to West Dog to dive Wall to Wall. Described as zillions of fish, the dive did not disappoint. There were zillions of fish. Alexis and Jared opted out of this dive and Gary and Brent went to explore the shallows with the video camera after Mom and Dad surfaced. Continuing his reign as Shark Spotter Extraordinaire, Brent pointed out a sleeping Nurse Shark to Gary and they got some fine video of this 8plus footer.

We watched the video, just to make sure they weren't telling fish stories and then headed for Marina Cay. We visited the island for pre-dinner drinks and listened to Michael Bean play pirate songs. Brent, Jared and Dad tried their hand at Conch Shell playing and then back to the boat for dinner and more Shark Stories.
