"My family spent a wonderful week in August 2006 sailing the San Juan and Gulf Islands aboard Lea Scotia. Captain (and owner) Trevor, was extremely capable and we felt comfortable and confident with him in charge. He had prepared a tentative itinerary, but was open to ideas and suggestions as we traversed the islands. Our schedule allowed for travel at our leisure, whether we desired extra hiking time along a deserted beach or shopping in a resort town. We never felt rushed and as a result this was one of the more relaxed vacations we've experienced.
Lea Scotia is a lovely yacht. It was well-appointed, clean and very comfortable. Trevor prepared tasty meals, which were enjoyed both above and below deck. Our week was outstanding and we highly recommend them both! The scenery is beautiful, the accommodations were comfortable, and Trevor is relaxed and easy-going, which all combine for a wonderful experience.
